[But he's smiling brightly, because even if his memory is still incomplete, he remembers Steve almost perfectly.]

I don't know, I was thinking of yelling you how you're a gorgeous guy, and I've always had my eyes on you, I just didn't think I should say anything. It was difficult, before. It's a lot easier now.

The serum just made everyone else see what I already saw.

[ Of course, the blush only deepens, despite the skeptical look he shoots Bucky. Because it kind of sounds a little like a line. From one of the movies they used to watch whenever a few cents could be spared. Because it's something he didn't know he wanted to hear, until now.

Bucky's always been his hero, after all. And some people develop crushes on their heroes. ]

Well, it was illegal back in the day. You'd woulda ended up in jail. I'd be killed.

[ Admittedly a little dramatic. Forgive Steve, he's trying to figure out if Bucky is kidding or not. And how to calm down his heartbeat. Even if Bucky is kidding, deep down inside, he hopes its not that. ]

[Bucky huffs a laugh, smirking at Steve.]

They sure agree with me now. I'm just the one who liked you first.

[It's nice to say, actually. Bucky loved his dates with women, but he'd always founds his thoughts wandering to his best friend.]

That's cause I look like a circus strongman, thanks to Howard's vita-rays and Erskine's serum.

[ It may be a deflection, but it's also true. And the original tights probably didn't hurt either. The ones Bucky wanted him to keep. ]

You were always pretty insistent i had good qualities though.

Maybe a little. But I can't say that was something I can complain about, after the initial shock wore off.

[Bucky chances brushing a little closer, smiling.]

[ They'd been the bright spot in those first few months. And the guy who played Adolph. Steve peers up at Buck from where he's still sitting. ]

[Bucky grins.]

You stick to your guns. You're opinionated, ready to do the right thing even if no one else wants to do it.

[ Do not blush, Rogers. ]

Some might say those are my bad qualities.

They ain't your bad qualities to me, Stevie.

Yeah, well. You're a bit biased.

[ But he's grinning a little as he says it. ]

I think I'm allowed to be biased, pal.

Hey, I'm not gonna argue with that.

[ He is going to push up from the table, so he's standing face to face with Bucky, though. ]

Coffee is almost ready.

[Bucky is grinning when Steve faces him.]

The coffee could always wait.

[ Steve snorts, deciding to sass his way around things. ]

It could. I think this is the slowest seduction I've been party to.

[Bucky's grinning, though, when he moves to brush his hand against the side of Steve's face.]

I figured I'd go all-out for you, Stevie.

At a snail's pace, huh. I feel so wanted.

[ He does, actually. Even if Buck is taking his time getting there. ]

I could always grab you and shove you up against a wall, if you want?

[It's a serious offer; he's smirking, but isn't about to do it until he gets verbal permission.]

[ And that produces a very deep blush, starting at his ears and disappearing below his shirt. ]

Uhm ... maybe?

[Bucky's smirking now, moving so he's in Steve's personal space, pressing one hand against Steve's chest.]

"Maybe?"

Yeah, maybe.

[ Which in this case is code for Steve throwing a little caution to the wind and leaning forward to steal a kiss. In for a penny, in for a pound. Isn't that how the saying goes? ]

[Bucky makes a delighted noise, surprised and pleased. He kisses back eagerlyHis hand remains where it is, and he chances a little more, starting to push Steve, guiding him so he's up against the nearest wall.

It's not like Steve will be pinned there, and it might even be fun for the two of them.]
